THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES IW Club Restaurant Review: The IW Club began as a late-breakfast and lunch place for golfers, then segued with grace into a fine dining restaurant that could satisfy the needs of the well-heeled Indian Wells clientele. Views of the golf courses and mountains are striking. The menu skews heavily towards comfort food, but on a high level. There are some sophisticated spins to quality ingredients. Braised beef short rib made with Wagyu beef is rich, while chicken and turkey potpie has such a light and flaky crust it makes the nostalgic dish all too ephemeral. Warm salmon niçoise salad is a popular warm-weather favorite. The bar serves some tasty small plates and is open until 11 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
