Jack's Cosmic Dogs Restaurant Review: Serving nine varieties of all-beef Boar’s Head hot dogs, including the Cosmic Dog and Galactic Dog, Jack’s offers them up topped with every kind of relish imaginable. Extra treats such as rich frozen custard; skinny, crispy shoestring fries; and spicy, less-sweet-than-usual root beer round out the offerings. The Galactic Dog is far and away the best, with plenty of chili, cheese, slaw and spicy mustard. Make it a Blue Galactic by switching to blue cheese slaw for an extra punch of flavor. Jack’s has a second location on James Island at 1531 Folly Rd., 843-225-1817, that serves up the same beloved hot dogs. |
