THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Jack's Fifth Restaurant Review:

The tiny, glassed-in Glow Bar at street level beckons visitors to come on downstairs and enjoy chef Herb Wilson’s delicious modern American food at Jack’s Fifth. The jacks-of-all-trades theme derives from the renowned Irving Penn photo series of 1950s American working men, which rings the rooms. A romantically lit lounge and spacious, warm dining room evoke a stylish club of the ’40s and ’50s. Chef Wilson’s flavorful seasonal menu tees off with hazelnut-crusted foie gras and segues to applewood-smoked salmon with green lentils, bacon and red wine fumet, or rice-crusted red snapper with Asian-inspired vinaigrette. For dessert, try the chocolate tasting with chocolate espresso flan, warm chocolate cake, cassis mousse napoleon (how’d that get in there?) and chocolate sorbet.
