 Jake's Grill Restaurant Review: Anchoring the handsome old Governor Hotel, Jake's Grill, part of the McCormick & Schmick's chain, features traditional dark-wood furnishings and crisp white tablecloths. And while the menu highlights grilled steaks, salmon, trout and crab are available, too. You can also order comfort food classics such as meatloaf, fish ‘n’ chips and cheeseburgers. Different homey "Blue Plate Specials" are served each day. The brunch menu includes steak and eggs as well as an array of Benedicts, omelets and a couple of versions of french toast (including berry-stuffed). Overall, the fare is substantial, the bar scene is lively, and the drinks are enormous. |
