| Serving contemporary American fare in a smart setting, the Grille keeps the menu tailored to a minimum of dishes, starring lunchtime sandwiches, soups and salads with a few main course options, and saving up the bigger guns for a leisurely, slightly dressy dinnertime. Go for the crab cakes or other worthy choices such as the pan-seared shrimp and the roasted artichoke flatbread. Entrée pleasures balance out between homey chicken potpie on one end of the scale to a seared strip loin at the other. You can’t go wrong with the braised lamb shank, a hearty dish that may disappear seasonally. Desserts are slightly fussy and all-American. Try the peanut butter chocolate cake for a taste treat. |
