| If you like some spice in your food, this is the place to be. The staff here offers menu guidance as well as plenty of cold water to quench the heat. Choose your meat---chicken, lamb or beef---and the able chefs will produce a deeply satisfying wat, or stew, brimming with flavorful spices. Vegetarians can enjoy lentil dishes in mild or hot sauce. There are also combination plates, and every dish comes with eyeb (cottage cheese) to remind your tongue what "cool" means. Use the spongy injera flatbread to sop up every last drop of this tantalizing cuisine. Alas, the service is notoriously slow here, so come with patience and know the food is worth the wait. |
