All of the Jason’s Deli locations are cheerful and family-friendly, enhanced by large windows and an open kitchen. The all-you-can-eat salad bar features romaine and iceberg lettuces, house-made pasta and potato salads, fresh vegetables and fruit, organic spinach salad, field greens, carrots and kalamata olives, plus muffins, chocolate mousse and banana pudding. Add chicken potpie or a bowl of soup---the tomato basil is a standout---to enhance the experience. A variety of po’ boys and grilled muffaletta sandwiches show New Orleans influences. Slimwiches---smaller portions---are served with chips, fresh fruit or steamed vegetables. We like the spinach veggie wrap with guacamole, mushrooms with Asiago and the grilled turkey breast Reuben with sauerkraut, low-fat Swiss cheese and spicy brown mustard on rye. Baklava, strawberry shortcake, turtle cheesecake and carrot cake are some of the appealing desserts.
