THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Jazz De Opus Restaurant Review: Deep wooden booths and Portlands best live jazz music wafting in from the bar create a superb atmosphere for a memorable evening out. The chefs specialize in fresh seafood cooked over an open mesquite grill, much of it served with Cajun or island flair. Recent entrées included blackened sea bass, spicy ahi tuna served with tequila-lime sauce, and crab cakes with tropical fruit salsa. Jazz De Opus also serves a number of heart-smart dishes that seem much too tasty to be good for you. The service here is nearly as excellent as the jazzy ambience.
