Trapped inside a half-occupied, indoor mini-mall, Jean Louis has managed to succeed in a spot where no restaurant previously has. The menu focuses on grilled game, steak and Northern Italian pastas. Chef-owner Jean Louis Montecot has traded his eclectic menu of years past for simplicity. Start with an overflowing bowl of gooey four-cheese French onion soup. Share the entrée-size portion of tuna tartare. Then, prepare to feast on veal piccata, osso buco or North American elk loin with boysenberry sauce. Each dish has a distinct flavor and flair.
