Jean-Luc Barnabet Restaurant Review: Jean-Luc Barnabet's children's menu is but one sign of what a thoughtful host he is. This chef is well intentioned and meticulous down to the last detail and we love him for it--but we'd like to see his spontaneous side every now and again! While the inspiration here is mostly regional, Barnabet does make an occasional (delicious!) detour. Wines in the cellar have been taste-tested, and Chablis, Burgundies, and some inexpensive Rhônes rule the roost, but this is the nonetheless the perfect place to try the local Yonne wines, which just keep improving these days.
