Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville Restaurant Review: There's no wasting away at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville restaurant. The food is worthwhile, but, then again, who even cares about the food when you're sipping your third margarita? For Parrotheads, or the biggest fans of Jimmy Buffett, a visit to Margaritaville is much more akin to a pilgrimage than a meal. Don't miss the volcano above the bar. Every hour --- or is it every time they play Margaritaville? --- the volcano erupts a lava of lime juice and tequila into a giant blender at the bar. Menu standouts include the “jamming’ jambalaya” Cajun rice loaded with shrimp, chicken and andouille sausage, the crispy coconut shrimp and, of course, the Cheeseburger in Paradise. There are actually a few signature burgers, including the volcano burger for the adventurous, topped with volcano chili, lava cheese sauce, pickled jalapeños, guacamole and Fritos original corn chips. If you don't dine here, be sure to stop by the takeout window to buy a frozen concoction to go.
