Jimmy's, An American Restaurant & Bar Restaurant Review: For locals by locals is the credo at this stylish but unpretentious restaurant, which features Jimmy's own self-titled Fierce American Food: strong and straightforward. He succeeds with homemade soups, steaks, chops and seafood. The crab cakes made with Chesapeake Bay jumbo lump blue crab, grilled center-cut ahi tuna, 18-ounce veal porterhouse, and the 28-ounce big rib-eye on the bone, dry aged 35 days and beautifully grilled, have earned our respect. You can also dine in the cool Raymond Chandler-esque bar and order wine from a list co-created by Red Wine with Fish iconoclast Joshua Wesson. And if you love tequila, you'll find more than 54 top-shelf agave or mezcal brands from which to choose. Jimmy's also has the only deck in town with a sunset view.
