Joe's Crab Shack Restaurant Review: They say their concept is simple: Build a tacky-looking shack of a restaurant and serve all different kinds of crabs---cooked in a myriad of ways. It is true; it works. Go with their specialty, blue crabs, and the staff will even demonstrate how to extract the sweet meat. You’ll toss your shells into a bucket in the center of the table, and you’ll wipe your dripping chin from sheets torn from the rolls of coarse paper towels provided to each table. Split an oyster po-boy on the side, or maybe some red beans and rice, as cracking these crabs can really stir up your appetite.
