THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Johnny O'Hagan's Restaurant Review: This is as traditional an Irish pub as you will find anywhere in town with its spacious bar, comfortable dining room and enormous fireplace, not to mention well-executed Emerald Isle fare. Comforting potato-leek soup and shepherd's pie are fail-safes, but that’s not to diminish the worth of the Irish breakfast, a platter of plenty with bangers, Irish bacon, potatoes, black and white pudding and eggs. Of course, you can’t go wrong with an order of fish ‘n’ chips or a giant burger. Sometimes the place opens early for televised games.
