Jordan's House of Ribs Restaurant Review

: The late Sam Jordan was known as the mayor of Butchertown, as the Bayview part of San Francisco was once known. His son hasn't been awarded that mantle, but he has continued his father’s tradition of serving soul-warming barbecue. All the usual suspects are available: pork and beef ribs, chicken, brisket and links. A combo is the way to go, because you get a taste of two meats plus two sides, such as African corn, potato salad, coleslaw and baked beans. For non-meat eaters, there’s an array of fried fish choices and rib-sticking jambalaya. Cobbler is the preferred dessert. Sam Jordan decorated his bar-restaurant with whimsical African artifacts, which his son has retained.
