THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Just Fabulous Restaurant Review:

Just Fabulous, the brainchild of Beryl-Ann Byrd, the longtime owner of a successful dessert company that services such accounts as The Lodge at Torrey Pines and The Marine Room, continues to lure in Kensington locals. It’s a small space, but the design is sophisticated. Rich tangerine-colored walls and brushed steel light fixtures accent the mid-century-influenced tables and chairs. On the lively savory menu our favorites are the fig-artisan cheese platter (with fresh, dried and stewed figs as well as pears, apples and a fine variety of cheeses) and the Snake River Ranch Kobe beef burger (served with truffle cheese, oven-roasted tomatoes and thin, crispy pommes frites). Soups are touted as a specialty, but our experience suggests otherwise. On the other hand, dessert is the area where Byrd truly shines. There’s no shortage of chocolate on the menu, all sufficiently decadent, but the hazelnut-cherry tart and the coconut macaroon cake are equally sinful.
