THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Kabuki House Restaurant Review

: Finding the Kabuki House in the chain-infused Beverly Connection can be an adventure, albeit an annoying one, but once the gleaming neon sign is visible, this sushi house is a pleasant respite. The Kabuki House-with its airy feel-is like a breath of fresh air amidst the hubbub in the Beverly Connection. The high ceilings, blond woods, bamboo plants and tall windows have a soothing effect. The authentic food, of course, adds much to the overall experience. The sushi menu is seemingly endless with many creative rolls like the M-80 with crab, avocado, cream cheese and baked seafood on top; the Hawaiian roll with red snapper, tuna, green onion, masago, avocado and cucumber; and the Yahoo Yahoo roll with diced jalepeƱos, spicy tuna, shrimp, avocado and cucumber. The usual Japanese teriyaki and noodle fare is also on hand; and, for lunch, the box specials are a value.
