Kai Market Restaurant Review

: Kai Market is a quick, casual dining option that's also a good value at the Sheraton Waikiki. (The restaurant is open to visitors as well as hotel guests.) The huge, high-ceilinged space overlooks the resort's pool and Waikiki Beach. The food, which is served buffet-style, features fresh, locally grown ingredients. In the mornings guests will find pastries, a bounty of fruit (pineapple, mango, bananas, etc.) and dishes like scrambled eggs with Hamakua Springs Country Farms tomato salsa and Nalo Farms chives. Meanwhile, the dinner menu draws inspiration from Hawaii's multicultural history, with options like Filipino-style vegetable stew and coconut Thai green curry with mussels. Desserts might include chocolate haupia and macadamia nut trifle. Breakfast $28.95, Dinner $55/$58 on Fri. & Sat. (children 6-12 $14.50 during breakfast and $24.50 during dinner).
