 Kaka'ako Kitchen Restaurant Review: Kakaako Kitchen is the brainchild of talented chef Russell Siu from 3660 On the Rise. It moved out of a warehouse into this more convenient shopping center location without sacrificing quality. Here you can find Hawaiian specialties at reasonable prices in a casual, get-your-own drinks and napkins atmosphere. For breakfast, we suggest the fried rice with egg. You can enjoy grilled ahi with soy-wasabi butter for less than $15 or five-spice shoyu chicken for $9. Everything's fresh, everything's affordable and everything's good. Of course, if you don't fall prey to the chocolate fudge brownie or the guava bars, you'll still have to add a few bucks for the light bread pudding with vanilla sauce. |
