THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Kay 'n Dave's Restaurant Review:

The crown jewel for a fast, friendly, local chain, the West Hollywood Kay ’n Dave’s combines fresh, healthy Mexican fare with a lively, local bar scene and a front-row seat for the nightly show along the Sunset Strip. The hooks here are Mexican flavors without all the guilt---making it the perfect restaurant to take up residence next to LA’s hippest gym, Crunch Fitness---and the sign out front declaring, Lardless Regardless, which must surely entice regulars among the spin class crowd. In addition to a full margarita menu, the restaurant offers an inspiring selection of virgin concoctions, like raspberry lemonade and a berry freeze. The menu offers all the usual suspects, from burritos to enchiladas to arroz con pollo, with ample choices for lean, mean meat lovers as well as at least a page of veggie-friendly fare. Unlike most Mexican joints, desserts are worth saving room for and are, by the way, about the only thing on the menu that will not meet with Jenny Craig’s approval. But if you’re ready to throw caution to the wind, do it with the margarita pie, a decadent, tequila-spiked key lime concoction.
