Kayser Restaurant Review:

Eric Kayser of boulangerie fame has branched out and opened his first casual snack restaurant. As you enter, you see a minimalist chic décor and a counter full of beautiful sandwiches, quiches and desserts for your take-out order. You can also opt to sit at one of the tables for a full meal. Salads, tartines, and hot dishes---all using fresh seasonal ingredients---abound. And, of course, you are regaled with several varieties of the delicious bread that has made Kayser famous. Opt for a cold plate of smoked fish or a salad with bacon and quail eggs, or enjoy a tartine of ricotta, asparagus and tomatoes. If you are really hungry, you can choose among the hot pasta, meat or fish dishes. There is a plat du jour every day, along with a côte de veau and a turbot complete with lovely garnishes.
