About the restaurant: Not all of us are lucky to know a friend with a rooftop deck. What's better? When your local already has one --- plus a full bar. Head to the Hyatt Place Chicago/Wicker Park and take the elevator seven floors up to the expansive patio overlooking the Kennedy --- or the 90/94 as we say here in Chicago, the feeder into downtown Chicago.

Food & Drinks: Unobstructed views lure a youthful crowd craving sunshine and cocktails such as the Paloma Fresca and the Whiskey Sour with Bulleit bourbon (plus craft and seasonal beers and wine). Coveted seats are the tiny tables and loungers lining the perimeter, with space enough for appetizers like fresh empanadas and pulled pork minis. Not many guests eat here, though, bypassing food to drink in that view.
