| There’s nothing like sampling sushi while watching the Mississippi River rolling by---with the Minneapolis skyline as a background---to bring about a Zen-like state of mind. At Kikugawa, the sashimi is impeccable, the rolls are traditional, and the shrimp tempura is like Japanese comfort food. What the chefs lack in innovation, they make up for in consistency. You won't find an ahi burger on the menu, but your yellowfin will always be of the best quality. The service is efficient and knowledgeable, appearing and disappearing as if leaving no footprints on rice paper. You may want to indulge in one of the many sakés. Order the satisfying prix-fixe dinner, which includes your choice of sashimi, sushi or yakitori, along with shrimp and vegetable tempura, crab salad and green tea ice cream. |
