King Edward VII Restaurant Review:
This is not an Olympic venue though Olympic Park is just down the road, but a good down-to-earth old-fashioned local. If you want a swish chain, go to nearby Westfield Stratford City shopping centre. If you want a very decent pint of beer or a glass of wine, accompanied by pub grub of the risotto, sausage and mash, steak or fish ‘n’ chips kind (from £8 to £13) in a convivial atmosphere with an open fire for chilly winter evenings, look no further than the good old King Eddie.
