Kingfisher Restaurant Review

: Chefs and owners Jim Murphy and Jeff Azersky, the longtime duo behind this Tucson favorite, know their stuff when it comes to seafood. They’ve worked with many of the same purveyors for years and the result is quality products and delightful dishes. Bicoastal oyster choices are always on the menu, and we can’t resist the littleneck steamers --- don’t resist sopping up all the broth. The lobster roll is reminiscent of those found throughout New England, while another favorite is the macadamia-encrusted Hawaiian fish. Meat lovers can enjoy one of the better burgers in town or the tender grilled baby-back pork ribs. And please, leave room for dessert, as Marianne Banes is a skilled and creative pastry chef. Wines tend to be American, and the cocktails are classically modern and well-built.
