THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Kingswood Restaurant Review:

This chic Australian-English eatery serves up tasty fare, including the beloved Ruby’s Bronte burger, which comes with a sweet chili sauce and a side of truffle fries. If you’re not in the mood for a burger, try the roast pumpkin galette with mascarpone, Parmesan and balsamic vinegar; the edamame and cranberry bean salad with toasted almonds, prosciutto and honey mustard; the beer-battered fish ‘n’ chips; or the grilled grass-fed rib-eye steak with local asparagus and herb butter. The owners of the NoLIta spot Ruby’s have transformed the former Jefferson space in the West Village from white and minimalist to warm and eccentric country-cozy, filled with vinery, tree branches, and even a stuffed peacock. Come early and enjoy a cocktail, like the strawberry-ginger mule, or a glass of something from the heavily Australian-accented wine list at the wraparound bar at the front of the airy room---where the mood is often jovial and sometimes boisterous.
