| A confection in pink and white with chrome accents, Kitchen 24 is like an old-fashioned diner gone Hollywood. The restaurant, squeezed between bars and clubs, buzzes 24 hours a day with energy, not to mention the whir of the milkshake machine. Breakfast is served all day. If you can get past the name, order the "wakey, wakey eggs and bakey." What comes is a well-priced combo of eggs, thin pancakes with crisp edges and your choice of thick-cut bacon or sausage. Also on offer are three full pages of lunch and dinner options, from an ahi niçoise to turkey potpie. For the sweet tooth, there's a candy counter as well as cupcakes and even dessert cocktails. |
