The Kitchen Restaurant Review

: This restaurant at Universal's Hard Rock Hotel is designed, in Central Florida's touristy world of make-believe, to look like the kitchen in a rock megastar’s mansion. It is fun to browse the culinary-themed memorabilia that hangs on the walls from the Hard Rock Hotel's many celebrity guests. A dedicated kids’ area keeps little ones entertained. Food is standard if not a little ho-hum, with selections like chicken quesadillas, rotisserie chicken, and comfort food classics like potpie and cola-braised pot roast. Standouts include beer-steamed mussels and Cape Canaveral shrimp cakes. On Saturday nights, character dining is available, where children can dine with some of their favorite cartoon characters from Universal Orlando’s theme parks. There’s also an area called the kids’ crib where little ones can hang out while mom and dad dine.
