Kitchenette Restaurant Review:

An offshoot of the upscale Artisan in Paso Robles, Kitchenette successfully delivers the same farm-fresh, house-made fare for breakfast and lunch. The emphasis is still on local, organic and sustainable goods, even with the on-tap wine, beer, cider and kombucha on offer. Breakfast brings savory and sweet items --- think chilaquiles with soy chorizo or a crème fraîche waffle topped with bananas and enjoyed with a steaming latte. At lunch, favorites include the slow-roasted lamb dip sandwich with goat cheese and a hearty mushroom barley soup. Check out the display case for desserts such as chocolate mousse plus freshly baked pastries, quiches and deli salads. Any of these can easily be packed up to take home. Be prepared for a wait at peak times, especially on weekends, as seating inside and outside is limited.
