Kobe Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar Restaurant Review: For a steakhouse, Kobe has one heck of a sushi menu, with more than 45 selections. Some evenings bring all-you-can-eat sushi, which usually draws a crowd. But don't just come for the sushi. Kobe, of course, is the famous steak that comes from Japanese steers that have been pampered and massaged with shochu (Japanese gin) in order to knead fat accumulation throughout the muscle tissues. The Kobe chefs will be happy to prepare it teppanyaki-style on the grill right at your table. Tempura veggies provide a little textural contrast to the sushi or tender beef. Cooling desserts include green tea, ginger and red bean ice creams. Don't think all this will clobber your wallet.
