| Kohnami is a fun place to go for tempura or sushi while sitting on the floor and sipping green tea. Though conventional tables exist, too, it's worth the wait for a low table. If cross-legged seating seems uncomfortable, take solace in the fact that there's room to dangle your feet through cut-outs under the table. This is also a good spot to swing by for a bento box, a lunch special that includes a choice of chicken, beef, salmon, tofu teriyaki or chicken katsu and a California or vegetable roll, salmon or veggie teriyaki, rice and fruit. With a salad and miso soup thrown in, it could easily be shared by two or saved for a second meal. In warmer weather, sit outside on the Asian-inspired back patio and enjoy live entertainment. |
