Kopper Kitchen Restaurant Review: This old-timey diner-restaurant features heaping portions, homemade soups and a nice mixture of vegetarian lunch selections such as vegetarian lasagna, vegetarian Reubens and a vegetable pâté. One of the most popular choices is the Greek salad, with or without anchovies. There's a friendly neighborhood atmosphere --- people seem to come as much to meet as to eat. As a result, at lunch, be prepared to wait in line. Desserts are homemade, from carrot cake and rice pudding to coconut cream and lemon meringue pies. The big business is breakfast, though, with the expected rib-sticking egg dishes.
