| Strip mall dining can surprise you, especially at this hip, uncomplicated pasta joint that caters to the broke but beautiful twenty-something crowd. The appetizers are almost a meal in themselves, especially the salads or the bread spreads flavored with basil, olives or sun-dried tomato. The pasta entrées often include simple spaghetti, linguini and penne puttanesca. Some diners dig the mashed potatoes laced with pesto; others swear by the savory grilled panini sandwich. Wine, mostly red, is available by the glass at an exceptionally reasonable price. |
