THIS RESTAURANT IS NOW A PRIVATE EVENT SPACE La Cenita Steak Restaurant Review:
One look at the extensive list of margaritas and you'll see this isn't your average steakhouse. The meats are prime, but they're served in a South American style. So if you're looking for wine with your beef, start with a nice Argentine Malbec or a Uruguayan Tannat. Go for the guacamole and queso fundido for starters while you decide on your cut of meat, which is prepared a la plancha (on the grill). Try the 18-ounce bone-in sirloin or go big with the 23-ounce Mexican dry-rubbed tomahawk, served with a sweet tamarind glaze. For dessert, s'mores empanadas and apple pie taquitos are too fun to resist, and the fried rice pudding is an original spin on the classic.
