| With brightly painted murals, tropical plants and a frisky, young crowd, this casual Cuban restaurant is the perfect spot to share a pitcher of house-made, fruit-laden sangrĂa and a big hot bowl of queso fundido. Salads here are generous and constructed with fresh field greens. For lunch, check out the Cuban sandwiches, then come back at dinner for simple (and cheap) Cuban main dishes, such as steak with tomato criolla sauce. Or go Spanish with paella, warm and mounded in its own iron skillet. Chicken enchiladas, an amazing assortment of quesadillas, and veggie burritos make for good fast fare that's fresh tasting. The chunky, tomato- and-onion-flecked guacamole may be one of the city's best. Also located at 2813 Peachtree Rd., Atlanta, 404-816-8311; and 923 Ponce de Leon Ave., Atlanta, 404-607-0665. |
