 Simply Fondue Restaurant Review: Located along the touristy bustle of Camino Capistrano across the way from the historic Mission, this dining venue uses a rustic exterior, dim interior lighting, and subtle, muted colors to succinctly capture the essence of the surrounding neighborhood. Many people see places such as this as great date spots as the communal dipping and sharing make for a more intimate meal. While we believe there might be more flash than flavor in fondue food culture, diners (especially couples) may come here for the seemingly endless cheese, vegetables, meat and chocolate fondue combinations, which can be cooked five ways (saké, court bouillon, oil, Punsch and grill). There’s also a sizable California-centric wine list and a selection of martinis to complement your meal. |
