La Mediterranee Restaurant Review:
Once a favorite spot of Cocteau and Picasso, this restaurant known for its seafood had slowly slipped into a sea of mediocrity. Ever since Raphaël de Montrémy and Geneviève Jabouille have entrusted the ovens to Denis Rippa, formerly of Le Divellec, l’Ambroisie and Taillevent, the restaurant is again filled with life. Try the wild sea bass carpaccio with Meaux mustard, the raw Scottish salmon with chanterelle mushrooms, the John Dory with zucchini and ginger compote, the bouillabaisse, and the pineapples roasted in anise to finish.
