THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED La Metairie Restaurant Review

: The look is rustic country French---dark-wood beams, white-stucco walls, farmyard artifacts, dried flowers and Provençal paisleys. The food is traditional French and satisfying. We suggest starting with the foie gras with Calvados and caramelized apples or the smoked-salmon cannoli. From there, choose among such hearty entrées as roast breast of duck accompanied by truffled mashed potato cakes, roast cod with olive-mashed potatoes, seared tuna with quinoa and plum-wine sauce or lobster risotto. Try the ricotta cheesecake for dessert. The wine list is acceptable, mainly French with a splash of Americana.
