THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED La Nonna Restaurant Review:

La Nonna means grandmother in Italian and the namesake restaurant is just as welcoming as you’d expect from such a title. The fact is, though, there is no nonna at La Nonna, yet chef Massimo Felici is the next best thing as proved by specialties like eggplant Parmigiano, good pastas and a lavish antipasto table that beckons from one end of the cozy dining room. Soulful roasted meats and fish are cooked in a wood-burning oven that is set into a festively tiled wall. Dishes like veal with black truffles perfume the whole dining room. Though all the food is simple and prepared with a definite restaraint, Felici (who cooked at the popular Da Vitorio) can’t hide his culinary sophistication.
