La Patoula Restaurant Review: Patoula has a lovely covered terrace, a true winter garden with big bay windows overlooking the river. Pierre Guilhem's enthusiasm mixed with his incredible savoir-faire give excellent results. He follows the seasons like a mother follows her child's every sniffle. In the spring, he gives you the first salmon from the Adour river; in the summer, he buys his fish from the Saint Jean de Luz fishermen; in the winter, the hunters provide his source of inspiration. What he puts before you is done with loving care, total lack of pretentiousness, and generosity (and generous helpings, too!). The cellar may be on the small side, but you'll find something for every occasion.
