You'll want to make a reservation for this popular restaurant from Quebec celebrity chef Guillaume St-Pierre. Look to the open kitchen at the back to spot the former Les Chefs food TV show winner plating braised lamb arancini with mussels escabèche and organic pork shoulder with cheddar foam. Lunch is a refined table d'hôte of seared steak with duchess potatoes and caramelized carrots, quiche spiked with blue cheese, or fish in ginger broth with bok choy. A glass --- or so --- of wine with lunch is perfectly normal in Quebec, so explore the lesser-known Italian, French, Spanish and Californian offerings at either the midday or evening meal. The sweet potato tart with white chocolate ice cream, molasses and grapes is the ideal closer for the meal. For French dining purists, however, there's also a notable cheese selection accompanied by homemade accoutrements.
