THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED La Serenata de Garibaldi Santa Monica Restaurant Review:

The third member of Jose and Aurora Rodriguez’s restaurant group, this colorful Mexican eatery features bright colors, Mexican Colonial-style furniture and artifacts and balcony seating that make you feel as though you're dining in a Cuernavaca hacienda. The expansive menu is similar to the flagship’s in Boyle Heights and hosts plenty of tantalizing options, but seafood stars, especially fish accented with fresh spinach sauce or camarones gigantes (giant shrimp) in white wine-cream sauce. The restaurant also does wonders with beef, chicken and pork. Don’t miss beef “medallions” in spicy guajillo sauce or pork in green chile sauce. For dessert, opt for goat’s milk caramel flan or something incorporating sweet Mexican guava. If you’re lucky, you might even be treated to Mexican harp music.
