La Tagliatella Restaurant Review: Capturing the corner location vacated by the popular 3 Bar & Grill, this Italian eatery offers a basically plain and Americanized menu that focuses on pizzas, pastas, and assorted meat entrées --- veal or pork scaloppine, for example. Pizza toppings are extensive, however, and include the familiar tomatoes and mozzarella combos plus the specialty of truffle cream and mushrooms. The kitchen categorizes its sauces into four different types, any of which you can select to complement whichever pasta you choose: fresh, dried and stuffed. If you crave Gorgonzola, you may want an order of Gorgonzola-stuffed pasta triangles, or how about a finish of duck and truffle cream sauce? Start with a buffalo mozzarella appetizer and wind up your meal with such sweets as tiramisu, mascarpone ice cream or fresh cheesecake with custard.
