THIS RESTAURANT IS NOW A PRIVATE EVENT SPACE Landmarc Restaurant Review:

Landmarc offers contemporary bistro fare with Italian and French inflections in the heart of TriBeCa. Chef Marc Murphy, whose résumé reaches from Monaco's famed Louis XV to Le Cirque, and his wife opened this cozy eatery. They continue to please regulars with their menu of back-to-basics fare enlivened by expert saucing. A feisty Dijonnaise, for example, perks up plump mussels while zingy chimichurri makes a hanger steak hum. Both come with hard-to-beat frites, hot from the fryer and drizzled with salt and parsley. The menu is large enough to keep repeat eaters busy for months, offering such intriguing options as roasted marrow bones with onion marmalade and grilled country bread; grilled octopus salad with potatoes, onions and chorizo vinaigrette; or the classic and high quality Landmarc burger with frites and field greens. One dish that’s not to be missed: the signature goat cheese profiteroles, with the tangy, warm cheese melting through the flaky pastry upon first bite.
