We---like many---canâ€™t get enough of the food at this stylish spot. But the space---which is the site of a former candle factory---is pretty sleek, too. Itâ€™s a scene, especially late-night, but that doesnâ€™t take away from the chef-driven approach and seasonal, locally-culled appeal of dishes turned out from the kitchen of this BOKA sib. The menu changes, but weâ€™ve found ourselves enamored with the silky, savory-sweet chestnut soup as well as the comforting braised short ribs lacquered with sweet soy glaze. Sweet corn tart with bacon, jalapeÃ±o and Gouda dressed with anise is an appealing surprise. Itâ€™s easy to nibble your way through a meal with options like cracked pepper polenta fries with truffled ranch, smoked ravioli with braised pork belly in cocoa jus and latkes crowned with smoked salmon and dill cream. As a finale, the warm cider doughnut sundae is enough to ward off the briskest of chills. Creative cocktails, a good grill menu and a nice, affordable wine selection only further the appeal.
