Landmark Diner Restaurant Review: This mainstay breakfast and after-hours joint has long served as the go-to spot for the late-night crowd. The classic diner closes at 2 a.m. most weeknights (at 4 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights and midnight on Sunday). French toast is made with challah, and huge omelets are good for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Not in the mood for breakfast? Mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers and crispy fried onion rings are all options to start. Or try one of many stacked sandwiches --- the BLT is a good choice --- or Greek-inspired items. Vegetable sides are among the best and the biggest in town. Desserts are diner style: strawberry cheesecake and a chocolate éclair, all served in colossal portions. Wine is available, but don’t look for anything out of the ordinary, and there is a full bar. Fast service means fast satisfaction.
