THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Larchmont Restaurant Review:

The phrase "Mi casa es su casa" ("My house is your house") is apropos at The Larchmont, a project from restaurateurs Spoon Singh (Venice Ale House) and Matthew Cape (Vinolio). Dining in this two-story craftsman-style cottage really does feel like visiting someone's house for dinner. The overhauled space (formerly Larchmont Grill) is clean and simple, with white walls, a white fireplace and white tablecloths. There's a marble-topped bar with five seats plus outdoor dining on the porch. Given its close proximity to Paramount Studios, the restaurant is a popular lunch spot for industry folk. Michael Bryant has taken over from Kevin Kathman as executive chef. Local ingredients inform the seasonal Californian cuisine in such dishes as celery and apple slaw complementing smoked pork belly; rock shrimp risotto with lobster emulsion; and bread pudding with sea salt, banana mousse and chocolate. The wine list is small, but there's a serious bar program courtesy of Nathan Oliver (Harvard & Stone). Among the offerings is a Bonded Fashioned (Bourbon, bitters, cherry, orange peel).
