Restaurant Veloce Cibo at the M Resort is offering a daily happy hour with a selection of $10 appetizers that are suitable for sharing. Guests may choose from a sushi platter, dim sum, chicken wings, flatbread or Kobe beef sliders. A selection of cocktails are offered for $5, and all beers are $3. The panoramic view from the 16th floor is free. Happy hour times are Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. and 9 p.m.-10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.-11:30 p.m. Restaurant Veloce Cibo, M Resort Spa Casino, 12300 Las Vegas Blvd. S., Henderson, NV 89044, 702-797-1000.
Executive chef Barry S. Dakake at N9NE Steakhouse inside Palms Casino Resort has added several new spring entrées. The new menu includes sautéed sea scallops served with spring onion risotto and king crab paired with a white wine garlic sauce; grilled organic Scottish salmon topped with ginger, scented Chinese long beans, cipollini onions, daikon radish and a white soy-balsamic glaze; mahi mahi served with a shrimp crust and heirloom cherry tomatoes, English peas, sunburst squash, fava and wax beans and drizzled with a lemon preserved vinaigrette; and the Maine lobster, a five-pound crustacean baked in garlic cracker crumbs.
