Chef and TV personality Gordon Ramsay will open his second Las Vegas restaurant in late 2012. Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill in Caesars Palace will serve British pub food with a contemporary twist and offer over 40 beers on tap. This casual pub will use fresh, seasonal ingredients. Expect to find some of Ramsay's favorites, like bangers and mash, fish ‘n' chips and roasted chicken. Grimaldi’s Pizzeria, known for its hand-tossed, coal-fired brick oven pizzas, is now open inside The Shoppes at The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino. The pizzeria serves New York-style pizza, salads, calzones and desserts that are complemented by an extensive wine list and full bar. The signature 25-ton oven is heated by coal, and reaches a temperature of up to 1,200 degrees, which allows the pies to bake evenly to create a crispy and smoky thin crust. The new opening is the sixth location in Nevada and the second on the Vegas Strip. The restaurant group currently operates 26 restaurants in Florida, Arizona, New York and Nevada. The new venue is open daily for lunch and dinner, from 11 a.m.-2 a.m. Grimaldi’s Pizzeria, 3325 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, NV 89109, 866-263-3001.

The 75,000-square-foot restaurant will partner with Angel Management Group (AMG), and will feature modern Chinese-inspired decor and a nightclub component. A website, hakkasanlv.com, has been created to promote the venue with a live camera allowing one to follow the construction.
