Chef Michel Richard has opened a Vegas version of Central Michel Richard, his Washington D.C. eatery, at Caesars Palace. Located adjacent to the hotel lobby, Central Michel Richard offers 24-hour dining, seating for approximately 300 guests, an outdoor patio terrace and a large lounge with full bar, several beers on tap and specialty cocktails. The food menu features many Central signature items such as Richard's popular burger, 72-hour short ribs and fried chicken. Alex Stratta, executive chef of Stratta at Wynn Las Vegas, is one of the contestants on season three of Bravo's Top Chef Masters. BRIO Tuscan Grille will introduce a new menu beginning April 12 at its Town Square restaurant and at its newest location in Tivoli Village, opening Thursday, April 28. The menu will feature shrimp and chorizo bruschetta, strawberry chicken balsamic salad, and beef medallions with shrimp scampi, and other dishes. Panevino Ristorante has introduced several new vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options, furthering the Italian restaurant’s commitment to healthy dining and catering to its guests’ dietary needs. Panevino’s executive chef Mario Andreoni created the specials, which include tortelloni tricolori (three-color tortelloni filled with roasted eggplant, yellow squash, zucchini, red bell pepper, asparagus, garlic and onion); orzo pasta salad (with cherry tomatoes, black olives, capers, basil, avocado, grilled asparagus, chopped parsley and extra virgin olive oil); and duo di burger di vegetali e brodo vegetale (vegetable burger made with eggplant, mashed potatoes, porcini and Portobello mushrooms, roasted yellow and red bell peppers and bread crumbs drizzled with white truffle oil). Additionally, any pasta selection can be customized to include gluten-free penne, spaghetti or risotto. Tacos & Tequila at the Luxor Hotel & Casino will offer its Spring Break Fever Menu through April 3 from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. On the menu are six specialty tacos and six bottles of Sol Mexican beers for $29, $8 taquitos, $8 chicken quesadillas and one-half-pound of habanero hot wings for $10.
